Big Bets Website and Toolkit

Spurred by the release of their President, Rajiv Shah’s, first book Big Bets: How Large-Scale Change Really Happens, The Rockefeller Foundation asked Big Monocle to create a campaign to generate awareness for its message and the Foundation’s overall climate strategy. Enter the Big Bets Community—a dynamic toolkit and online hub empowering emerging leaders to tackle pressing issues, particularly climate change, with bold solutions. Working with the Rockefeller Foundation and IDEO, we crafted an interactive toolkit inspired by Shah's principles. This digital treasure trove equips budding visionaries with practical strategies for making sizable impacts. From problem-solving frameworks to partnership cultivation, the toolkit's step-by-step guidance fuels innovation and action. But more than spreading knowledge, we wanted the Big Bets Community to foster a culture of collaboration. We conceived a 6-month Fellowship program, announced at COP 28 in Dubai, providing 10-15 fellows with an opportunity to develop their Big Bet idea through a curated curriculum developed in partnership with IDEO.
